In short
Choose a landing page if you have one main offer, a campaign to launch or a tight budget: one page drives one action. Choose a brochure website if you offer several services, cover several areas or want to be found on Google for varied searches. A well-built landing page can grow into a brochure site.
The difference in one sentence
A landing page is a single page built for one action: request a quote, book, call. A brochure website is a set of pages presenting your company, services, areas and answers to common questions.

When a landing page is enough
- You’re starting out and want to be reachable quickly.
- You’re running an ad campaign: the ad and the page must talk about exactly the same thing.
- You have one main offer, for example an airport transfer or a festive menu.
The trap: trying to fit everything on one page. If you need more than 7 or 8 sections, a brochure site is usually clearer.
When you need a brochure website
- You offer several services aimed at different clients.
- You work across several cities or areas and want to appear in local searches.
- Your clients need reassurance before contacting you: team, method, terms, FAQs.
- You want to publish guides or news.
Google recommends helpful content made for people first; one clear page per topic makes that much easier (source).
Examples
- A private chauffeur launching ski resort shuttles: a landing page for that offer, linked to a seasonal campaign.
- A restaurant with a menu, private hire and events: a brochure site, because guests look for different information.
- A consulting firm with three areas of expertise: a brochure site with one page per expertise and online booking.

Frequently asked questions
Can a landing page rank on Google?
Yes, for a specific search close to its topic. It will struggle to rank for many different queries, since it has no dedicated pages.
How long does it take to turn a landing page into a brochure site?
If the structure was planned to grow, from a few days to a few weeks depending on the number of pages and when content is ready.
